Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Description and Operation
The MAF sensor consists of heat resistor, metering duct, straightening net, body, control circuit, etc.
It detects the mass flow of the air drawn into the engine and sends that information to ECM as a current signal. ECM uses the signal as one of the
signals to control various devices.
