Sidekick Sport 2D JLX 4WD L4-1.8L (1998)
2. Connect discharge hose and suction hose to P/S pump.
Tightening Torque (b): 60 Nm (43.5 ft. lbs.)
3. Connect P/S pump pressure switch lead wire to switch terminal.
4. Install generator belt.
5. Install air cleaner outlet hose.
6. Fill oil tank with specified P/S fluid.
Power steering fluid: DEXRON III (A/T fluid) or equivalent.
7. Purge air in P/S circuit.
8. Connect negative cable at battery.
9. Start engine and check P/S system for fluid leakage.
