1.
Install two oil pump pins and new oil pump gasket to cylinder block.
2.
Install oil pump to crankshaft, using tool shown in Fig. 58.
3.
Install oil pump attaching bolts as shown in Fig. 59, tighten bolts to specifications. Ensure oil seal lip is not upturned, then remove tool.
4.
Install rubber seal between oil pump and water pump, Fig. 60.
5.
If edge of pump gasket bulges out, cut bulge off with sharp knife. Gasket edge must be smooth and flush with end faces of pump case and cylinder
block.
6.
Install timing belt guide, key and crankshaft timing belt pulley, Fig. 61. Timing belt guide must be install with its concave side facing oil pump.
7.
Install timing belt as outlined under TIMING BELT & TENSIONER.
