Swift L4-1298cc 1.3L SOHC MFI (1997)
1. Press-fit bearing outer race using special tools (C), (E) and (H).
Special Tool:
(C): 09924-74510
(E): 09944-78210
(H): 09944-68210 or equivalents.
2. After greasing (lithic grease) bearing outer race, bearings, inner race and oil seal lips, install them.
Inside Oil Seal
Drive in Oil seal until its end contacts knuckle using special tool (E).
NOTE: When driving in oil seal, be careful not to deform or tilt it or not to cause damage to rubber part.
Special Tool (E): 09944-78210 or equivalent.
CAUTION: When installing inside oil seal of ABS equipped vehicle, align its hole to wheel speed sensor installation position of knuckle as
shown.
Outside Oil Seal
Drive in oil seal until its end contacts snap ring using special tools (C), (E) and (H). As for its installing direction, refer to figure.
