M.Forward (Discriminating) Sensor Connector
Connector position assurance (CPA): The Connector Position Assurance (CPA) is a small plastic insert that is inserted through the lock (locking tabs)
of connector. The purpose of the CPA is to assure the connector halves are securely connected and they cannot vibrate apart. The CPA must be in place
to ensure good contact between the mating terminals.
Terminal retainer (Terminal position assurance, TPA): The function of the TPA is to keep the terminal securely seated in the connector body. The
TPA is not to be removed from the connector body.
