AFFECTED VIN(S):

CONDITION: 

Air conditioner does not cool.

CAUSE: 

The compressor clutch magnet may have an open coil circuit.

CORRECTION: 

The compressor clutch on vehicle listed may have an open circuit in the clutch winding. Please refer to the instructions below and inspect the clutch
assembly engagement first before using the normal diagnostic procedure found in the service manual. Refer to instructions below. 

Note:

If the clutch is found to be defective, order the clutch assembly only. Do not replace the compressor and clutch as an assembly. It is not necessary to
replace the compressor or remove the refrigerant from the system to do this repair. Follow the procedure in TSB SX4  HVAC TS 01 09267 to
replace the clutch assembly.
