Instructions - bodywork repair Bodywork repair of Opel/Vauxhall vehicles is based on the latest developments in body construction. The procedures and materials used reflect the aim of repairing the body structure in a manner that is safe and economical while maintaining high quality. The instructions provide information on bodywork repair procedures, component illustrations and further information on removal, installation and replacement of metal body parts and attaching parts. In general, only the areas described in the instructions should be separated from or connected to one antoher. Only work on the specified parts is permitted so as not to negatively impact the body structure. In general, the descriptions cover the work required to remove+install or replace the specified component while using the specified procedure and special tools.General preparatory work, such as removing adjacent panelling or control units, is only described in brief. Compliance with the safety regulations of Adam Opel AG/Vauxhall Motors Ltd is required when carrying out the work. In order to ensure that repair work is both economical and of high quality, the described procedures and Opel/Vauxhall metal service parts and repair materials must be used. The design and quality of Opel/Vauxhall service parts and repair materials are the same as those used in vehicle manufacture.
