A2 – Observe safety measures
The basic prerequisite is to protect the operator from dangers
and health hazards.
It is the responsibility of the employer or supervisor to ensure
a safe work environment.
The national guidelines and information from the trade
association of the chemical industry must be observed to ensure
safety in the workplace.
The following basic safety measures must be followed:
Protect eyes!
- Eye bath.
- Wear safety goggles.
- In case of eye contact, immediately rinse out any material with
water.
Protect respiratory organs!
- Wear breathing mask.
- Work with materials in well-ventilated areas with extractor
system.
Protect skin!
- Wear protective clothing, protective gloves.
- If skin comes into contact with materials, clean with plenty of
water and a neutral soap.
Protect hearing!
- Wear earmuffs for sanding and sawing operations.

A3 – Dangerous materials classification
The dangerous materials classification regulates the handling of
materials. The designation is on the material container label.

The hazard class regulates the storage of flammable liquids and,
if applicable, is on the material container label.
