Airbag Unit - Passenger's Side, Remove and
Install
Caution
Disconnect battery and wait 1 minute until the capacitor has
discharged.
 Remove
Glove compartment – see operation "Glove Compartment,
Remove and Install".
Release and remove airbag unit.
Detach and separate airbag unit wiring harness plug.
Caution
|
Always set aside airbag unit with screw connection side
downwards.

Install
|
Wiring harness plug to airbag unit, position airbag unit in
detent (1). Passenger's side airbag unit to steering crossmember
– tightening torque 5 Nm / 3.7 lbf. ft. Glove compartment,
connect battery.
