• Automatic transmission

• Manual transmission
The AF 17 manual transmission is maintenance-free and is designed for life-long operation.
• Steering gear
The new EHPS power steering uses special fluid. Catalogue/part no.: 19 40 766 / 90 544 116
• Warranty against body corrosion penetration
The warranty against body corrosion penetration for the Astra-G is 12 years.
• Service Interval Display
The Service Interval Display (SIA) indicates to the driver when the next inspection is due, according to either the time or distance factor. The display must be reset during the predelivery inspection or Opel/Vauxhall inspection. Caution: Stationary periods in which the vehicle battery is disconnected are not taken into consideration by the Service Interval Display. Observe the maintenance intervals specified in the Service Maintenance Booklet.
