Complaint:

No /Poor Function

Poor performance of the TC-System due incorrect programming of the control unit.

 

Cause:

Wrong version code by programming the version of the ABS /TC -control unit.

 

Production Solution:

As of 09. September `98 the control units have the correct programming.

Remedy:

Check programmed version with Tech2 if necessary correct programming.

The software of Tech2 contains the correct versions. The Tech2 has tobe programmed corresponing to the transmission (manual or automatic).

 

Work instruction:

Select the ABS /TC and wait for data transfer.

If there is "ECU not programmed" in the following ID-screen, under the point "programming" then choose menue point "version coding" to programm the ABS.

If you see the actual state push the soft key "modify".

Choose the correct item (1,8 l - 2.OL MT" or " 1.8 l or 2.OL AT")

Push the correct bottom at the main-menue of the system to get the programming function, choose the test you need an confirm with ENTER. Follow the instructions of the diagnostic.tester.
