Throttle Body Potentiometer, Remove and Install (X
16 SZR)
 Remove

Remove air intake cover – see illustration "Air Ducts (X
16 SZR)". Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) from throttle valve
potentiometer. Remove throttle valve potentiometer from throttle
valve injection housing.
Install
Attach throttle valve potentiometer with closed throttle valve
to throttle valve injection housing – tightening torque 2 Nm
/ 1.5 lbf. ft. Insert fastening bolts with screw locking compound
(red).

Caution
Ensure correct seating of carrier on throttle valve shaft.
Install
Connect wiring harness plug to throttle valve potentiometer.
Install air intake cover – see illustration "Air Ducts (X 16
SZR)".
