 Remove
Remove valve body – see operation "Valve Body, Remove and
Install (Transmission Removed) (AF 20)".
Remove front valve body – see operation "Valve Body,
Disassembly and Reassemble (AF 20)".
Caution
To prevent confusion lay aside all parts in order to ensure
perfect functioning after assembled is completed.
Disassemble
Remove all of the parts from the valve body that are shown or
indicated in the survey.
 Clean
Clean and dry all parts, then lubricate lightly. Replace seal
rings.
Inspect
Check all removed parts for damage, wear, rust and deformation
– replace complete valve body if necessary. All pistons and
valves must fit in valve body free of play – replace entire
valve body if necessary.
Assemble
Install all parts depicted or shown in the survey with new
gaskets in valve body.
Tightening torque for pressure regulator and solenoid valves 7
Nm / 5 lbf. ft.
Install
Install front valve body – see operation "Valve Body,
Disassembly and Reassemble (AF 20)".
Install valve body – see operation "Valve Body, Remove and
Install (Transmission Removed) (AF 20)".
