Shift Guide, Remove and Install
(F13/F13+/F17/F17+/F18/F35)
 Remove

Loosen clamp bolt (1) of shift guide clamp – do not
unscrew. Detach shift guide from shifter rod.
Remove retaining clamps (2) and (3) from timing disc.
Pull timing disc from shift guide bracket.
Detach universal joint from shifter rod – at the same time
press in retaining spring (arrow) of female pin (4) and lever out
female pin with KM-569-A.
Remove timing disc upward with shift guide.

Install
Insert timing disc with shift guide. Install new retaining
clamp.
Install universal joint on shifter rod and secure with new
female pin – female pin retaining spring must engage.
Place timing disc on shift guide bracket and secure with new
retaining clamp. Slide shift guide onto shifter rod and screw on
clamp bolt but do not tighten.
 Adjust
Adjust shift linkage - see operation "Shift Linkage, Adjust
(F13/F13+/F17/F17+/F18)" or "Shift Linkage, Adjust (F35)"
Install
Tighten clamp bolt – tightening torque 12 Nm / 9 lbf. ft.
+ 180° to 225°.
Shift through transmission.
