Transmission fluid level:

Following a transmission repair operation the transmission must be topped up to lower edge of checking aperture.

 

As transmission fluid is factory-filled by weight, fluid level is always below checking aperture – a correction is not necessary during inspection interval if no leaks are found.

1 ) This transmission fluid can only be used in this transmission – not for F23.
