Transmission Housing, Replace (F18)
 Remove
|
Remove transmission – see operation "Transmission, Remove
and Install (F13/F17/F17+/F18)".
Attach KM-444-C (1) to transmission.
Attach transmission with KM-444-C to KM-113-2 (2).
Remove gearshift cover (5) with shift guide (6) – see
operation "Gearshift Cover, Remove and Install and/or Seal
(F13/F17/F17+/F18)".
Remove reversing lamps switch (4).
Remove end shield cover (3) – see operation "End Shield,
Remove and Install (F13/F17/F17+/F18)".
Remove end shield – see operation "Gasket for End Shield,
Replace – F13/F17/F17+/F18".

Remove
Remove differential – see operation "Differential, Remove
and Install (F18)".
|
Remove bearing for main (2) and drive shaft (1) in transmission
housing – see operation "Bearing for Main and Drive Shaft in
Transmission, Remove and Install (F18)".
Remove central release (5) – see operation "Central
Release, Remove and Install (F13/F17/F18/F23)".
Remove transmission housing pressure line (4) to central line
and pressure line fastening sleeve (3) – see operation
"Transmission Housing Pressure Line to Central Release and /or
Pressure Line Fastening Sleeve, Replace (F13/F17/F18/F23)".
Remove transmission housing from KM-444-C.

Install
Attach new transmission housing to KM-444-C.
|
Install bearing for main (2) and drive shaft (1) in transmission
housing – see operation "Bearing for Main and Drive Shaft in
Transmission, Remove and Install (F18)".
Install transmission housing pressure line (4) to central line
and pressure line fastening sleeve (3) – see operation
"Transmission Housing Pressure Line to Central Release and /or
Pressure Line Fastening Sleeve, Replace (F13/F17/F18/F23)".
Install central release (5) – see operation "Central
Release, Remove and Install (F13/F17/F18/F23)".

Install
Install differential – see operation "Differential, Remove
and Install (F18)".
|
Install end shield (1) – see operation "Gasket for End
Shield, Replace (F13/F17/F17+/F18)".
Install end shield cover (2) – see operation "End Shield
Cover, Remove and Install (F13/F17/F17+/F18)".
Install reversing lamp switch (4) with new seal ring –
tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.
Install gearshift cover (3) – see operation "Gearshift
Cover, Remove and Install and/or Seal (F13/F17/F17+/F18)".
Remove transmission with KM-444-C from KM-113-2.
Remove KM-444-C from transmission. Install transmission –
see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install
(F13/F17/F17+/F18)".
