Adjust Transmission Shift Linkage
(F13/F13+/F17/F17+/F18)
 Remove
Remove battery.
Remove battery support.
|
Detach clamp bolt (1) for shift guide clamp – do not
unscrew.
Unclip centre console cover. Remove gearshift lever cover from
centre console (2 fastening bolts) and turn upward with
bellows.
 Adjust
Swing shift lever to the left to lock bore holes in shift lever
and shift lever housing (arrows) with Adjusting Pin KM-527-A
(2).

Adjust
|
Engage locking pin (1) in adjusting bore hole in shift cover
plate by turning shifter rod to the left (3rd gear direction).
Note: F13/F13+ and
F17 transmission adjusting pin is located in front of shift cover
in direction of travel; transmission F18 adjusting pin is located
behind shift cover in direction of travel.

Install
Tighten clamp bolt for shift guide clamp – tightening
torque 12 Nm / 9 lbf. ft. + 180° to 225°.
Remove KM-527-A from gearshift lever bore holes and shift
housing. Attach gear shift cover to centre console.
Clip centre console cover on centre console.
Note: Locking pin in
adjusting bore hole releases automatically when first shifted in
"R" direction – if necessary release locking pin by hand.
Install
Install battery support – tightening torque 15 Nm / 11
lbf. ft.
Install battery.
Inspect
Check ease of gear shifting with vehicle standing, engine
running and clutch disengaged.
