Replace catalytic converter control oxygen sensor > < Engine Z17DTL / Z17DTH, EDC 16 (Rear electronic module)

Replace mixture regulator lambda sensor

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Disconnect earth connection from battery
•   Slacken nut
3.   Remove mixture regulator oxygen sensor (1)
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug (2)
– Unclip from mounting
•   Unscrew carefully with KM-6129

  Install

4.   Install oxygen sensor mixture regulator
•   Coat thread of the mixture regulator oxygen sensor with special grease
Note:   Only if re-using the oxygen sensor - new oxygen sensors are already pre-treated
•   Tighten oxygen sensor with KM-6129 40 Nm
•   Connect and clip in wiring harness plug
5.   Attach earth connection to battery
•   Tighten nut
6.   Program volatile memories
7.   Close bonnet
