Removal Procedure

Install the engine mount
bracket (2) with engine mount bracket adapter (1). |
4. |
Install the 3 engine mount
bracket bolts (3) and tighten to 60 N·m (44 lb
ft) . |
5. |
Install the engine mount
(5). |
6. |
Install the 2 engine mount to
body bolts (2). |
7. |
Install the engine mount nut
(1). |
8. |
Install the 3 engine mount to
engine mount bracket bolts (3) and the 3 washers (4). |
9. |
Tighten the 2 engine mount to
body bolts (2) and the engine mount nut (1) to 55
N·m (41 lb ft) . |
10. |
Tighten the 3 engine mount to
engine mount bracket bolts (3) to 50 N·m (37 lb
ft) . |
11. |
Remove the engine lifter from
the right engine lift bracket. |
12. |
Install the EN-662-C
bracket in order to fix the crankshaft pulley. |
13. |
Loosen the crankshaft pulley
bolt while holding up the crankshaft pulley. |
14. |
Install the CH-161-B
puller (2) and detach the crankshaft pulley (1).

15. |
Remove the crankshaft pulley
bolt (3) and the washer (4). |
16. |
Remove the crankshaft pulley
(2) and the crankshaft pulley plate (1). |
|
Note: Use a socket
wrench (2).
|
17. |
Loosen the oil pump gear nut
while holding up the oil pump gear (1). |
18. |
Remove the oil pump gear nut
(2). |
19. |
Remove the oil pump gear
(1). |
20. |
Remove the 9 oil pump housing
bolts (2). |
21. |
Remove the oil pump housing
(1). |
22. |
Remove the oil pump inner
rotor (2) and the oil pump outer rotor (1). |
23. |
Remove the crankshaft front
oil seal (1) and the oil pump drive shaft seal (2), using the
EN-45000 remover . |
Installation Procedure
1. |
Clean the sealing
surfaces. |
2. |
Clean the oil pump assembly
parts from old engine oil and dust. |

Note: Lubricate the
oil pump rotors with engine oil.
|
4. |
Install the oil pump outer
rotor (1) and the oil pump inner rotor (2). |
|
Note: Mind the guide
sleeves.
|
5. |
Install the oil pump housing
(1). |
|
Note: Mind the
different bolt lengths.
|
6. |
Install the 9 oil pump bolts
(2) and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in)
. |
7. |
Install the oil pump drive
shaft seal, using the EN-657 installer (1).
|
8. |
Install the crankshaft front
oil seal, using the EN-656 installer (1).
|
9. |
Install the oil pump gear
(1). |
10. |
Install the oil pump gear nut
(2). |
11. |
Tighten the oil pump gear nut
while holding up the oil pump gear (1) with a socket wrench (2) in
the following order : |

Tighten the oil pump gear nut
to 60 N·m (44 lb ft) . |
|
• |
Hold the torque for 60
seconds . |
|
• |
Loosen the oil pump gear
nut |
|
• |
Tighten the oil pump gear nut
again to 60 N·m (44 lb ft) |
12. |
The cam (1) and the notch (2)
must align. |
13. |
Install the crankshaft pulley
plate (1). |
14. |
Install the crankshaft pulley
(2). |
15. |
Install the EN-662-C
bracket in order to fix the crankshaft pulley. |
16. |
Install the crankshaft pulley
bolt (3) and the washer (4) and tighten to 196 N·m
(145 lb ft) while holding up the crankshaft pulley.

17. |
Install an engine lifter (1)
to the right engine lift bracket and apply tension to the engine
lifter chain in order to support the engine. |
18. |
Remove the 3 engine mount to
engine mount bracket bolts (3) and the 3 washers (4). |
19. |
Remove the 2 engine mount to
body bolts (2) and the engine mount nut (1). |
20. |
Remove the engine mount
(5). |
21. |
Remove the 3 engine mount
bracket bolts (2). |
