Neutral Position Sensor Learn
Note: The neutral position
sensor learn procedure is required when the following service
procedures have been performed:

sensor replacement |

Any repairs which
affect the neutral position sensor relationship |
| 1. |
Engine is running, vehicle
speed 0 km/h (0 MPH), control lever in neutral position, clutch
pedal not applied. |
| 3. |
With a scan tool, select
Neutral Position Sensor Learn under Configuration/Reset Functions,
Learn Functions in the Engine Control Module, and perform the
instructions displayed on the scan tool screen. |
| 4. |
The scan tool will display
Neutral Position Sensor Learn Status Complete if the process was
successful. |
| 5. |
The scan tool will display the
Neutral Position Sensor under Data Display, Stop/Start System Data:
Neutral or In Gear, in dependence of the actual control lever
position. |
| 6. |
Turn OFF the ignition, the
learn procedure has successfully completed. |
