Transmission Mount Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure

1. Remove battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .

2. Install an engine lifter (1) to the left engine lift brackets (2) and apply tension to the engine lifter chains in order to support the engine.

3. Remove and DISCARD 3 transmission mount bolts (1).

4. Remove 2 transmission mount bolts (2) and transmission mount nut (1).

5. Remove transmission mount (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install transmission mount (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .

2. Install 2 transmission mount bolts (2) and tighten to 62 N·m (46 lb ft) .
3. Install transmission mount nut (1) and tighten to 62 N·m (46 lb ft) .

4. Install 3 NEW transmission mount bolts (1) and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft) + 60° - 75° .
5. Remove the engine lifter from left engine lift brackets.
6. Install battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
