Cover and/or Seal Ring
for Fluid Pump Valve Body, Replace
Raise vehicle.
Unscrew cover for fluid pump
valve body (11 screws).
Note: Loosen
cover by tapping lightly (see arrow) with rubber mallet.
Remove cover with gasket.
Gasket must not be reused.
Install cover with new
gasket and secure with 11 screws torque 11 Nm/8.11 lbf. ft.
Note: The
three upper screws of the cover can be more easily inserted from the engine
compartment.
Lower vehicle.
Correct transmission fluid
level if necessary - see operation "Transmission Fluid Level, Check and
Correct" in this group.
