Replace rear panelling
 Remove
| 1. |
Remove both rear lights
|

Remove licence plate lamps

Unclip 2x licence plate lamps
|
| • |
Disconnect 2x wiring harness plug
|
| • |
Remove licence plate lamps
|
|
|
| 4. |
Release rear panelling
| • |
Unscrew 2x bolt, outer left (4)
|
| • |
Unscrew 2x bolt, outer right (1)
|
| • |
Unscrew 2x centre bolts (2)
|
| • |
Unscrew 2x bolt, bottom (3)
|
|
|
|
Important: Carefully detach the
rear panelling from the guide rail. In the area of the guide rail,
press the rear panelling upwards to the side and withdraw at the
same time!

Remove rear panelling
Note: 2nd person

Release rear panelling from side guide rail
|
| • |
Release rear panelling from rear outer guide rail (1)
|
| • |
On vehicles with park pilot: release Parkpilot wiring harness
plug
|
|
|
Install
| 6. |
When replacing the rear panelling, transfer the attaching
parts
|
| 7. |
Position rear panelling
Note: 2nd person

| • |
On vehicles with Parkpilot: connect Parkpilot wiring
harness
|
| • |
Engage rear panelling in rear outer guide rail
|
| • |
Engage rear panelling in side guide rail
|
|
| 8. |
Attach rear panelling
| • |
Tighten 2x bolt outer right
|
| • |
Tighten 2x bolt, outer left
|
|
| 9. |
Install licence plate lamps
| • |
Connect 2x wiring harness plugs
|
| • |
Insert licence plate lamps
|
| • |
Clip in 2x licence plate lamps
|
|
| 10. |
Install licence plates
|
| 11. |
Install both rear lights
|
