Replace side airbag (not deployed) - OPC > < Replace side airbag sensor - L08

Replace airbag sensor (top front) - centre

  Remove

1.   The graphics show the installation position of the airbag sensor (arrow)
Object Number: 10679687 Size: DEFAULT


2.   Disconnect battery
3.   Observe waiting time for airbag deactivation, 1 min.
4.   Detach wiring harness in front engine compartment
•   Release clip (3)
5.   Detach sensor
•   Release screws (2)
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug (2)
Object Number: 10679416 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

6.   Attach sensor
•   Connect wiring harness plug
•   Tighten bolt 6 Nm
7.   Fasten wiring harness in front engine compartment
•   Clip in clip
8.   Connect battery
9.   Program volatile memories
