Replace airbag contact unit. > < Load compartment partition, remove and install or replace

Corsa D

Replace airbag system control unit

  Remove

1.   Disconnect battery
2.   Observe waiting time for airbag deactivation, 1 min.
3.   Detach centre console
4.   Remove airbag control unit
•   Unscrew 3x nut (1) and remove control unit
5.   Detach airbag wiring harness
•   Release and disconnect 2x wiring harness plug

  Install

6.   Attach airbag wiring harness
•   Connect and latch wiring harness plug
7.   Install airbag control unit
•   Connect 2x wiring harness plugs
•   Tighten 3x nut 10 Nm
8.   Install centre console
9.   Connect battery
10.   Program volatile memories
Note:   When replacing the control unit, after installation program control unit with TECH 2 .
