Front door check strap, remove and install - L08

  Remove

1.   Detach door check strap from A-pillar
•   Unscrew bolt (1)
Object Number: 8125790 Size: DEFAULT


2.   Detach front door inner panelling LUREF_1.gif
3.   Partly detach water vapour barrier (1)
•   Detach exterior mirror wiring harness
– Detach 2x cable brackets (2)
Object Number: 8125791 Size: DEFAULT


4.   Remove door stop
•   Unscrew 2x nut (1)
Object Number: 8125792 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

5.   Install door stop
•   Tighten 2x nut 8 Nm
6.   Attach water vapour barrier
•   Attach exterior mirror wiring harness
– Replace 2x cable brackets
7.   Attach front door inner panelling LUREF_1.gif
8.   Attach door check strap to A-pillar
Note:   Insert screws with locking compound!
•   Tighten bolt 20 Nm
