Glue on retaining plate for interior rear view
mirror
 Remove

Detach inside rear view mirror

Release mirror downwards and remove
|

| 2. |
Clean windscreen in area to be cemented with glass cleaner.

| 3. |
Delineate the area for attaching the retaining plate with
adhesive on the windscreen with masking tape

Roughen the retaining plate slightly (grit size P 100) and
clean
|
|
Install
| 4. |
Affix retaining plate
| • |
Mix 2-component adhesive (part no. 90 543 242/catalogue no. 15
04 814) in accordance with the instructions and apply to the
retaining plate approx. 1 mm
thick.

Only press the retaining plate lightly onto the windscreen
|

Audibly engage interior rear view mirror
