Replace adjustment handle on front seat fitting > < Front seat upholstery covering fastening

Front Seat, Remove and Install

  Remove

1.   Disconnect battery
2.   Observe waiting time for airbag deactivation, 1 min.
Object Number: 10680283 Size: DEFAULT

3.   Detach front seat at front
•   Unscrew 2x bolt (2)
•   Recut thread
4.   Move seat to forwardmost position
5.   Detach front seat at rear
•   Unscrew 2x bolt (1)
•   Recut thread
6.   Remove front seat
•   Release compact plug lock (4) to rear
•   Release compact plug closure (5) to side
•   Separate compact plug (3)

  Install

7.   Insert front seat
•   Connect and latch compact plug
8.   Attach front seat at rear
•   Tighten 2x bolt 35 Nm
Note:   Use bolt locking compound
9.   Attach front seat at front
•   Tighten 2x bolt 35 Nm
Note:   Use bolt locking compound
10.   Connect battery
11.   Program volatile memories
