Front Seat Backrest Lock Lever Replacement - Corsa D OPC

Replace front seat backrest lock lever - OPC

  Remove

1.   Remove front seat
2.   Detach adjustment handle (1) on front seat backrest
•   Unclip adjustment handle panel (2) with suitable tool
•   Unclip front seat backrest adjustment handle

3.   Detach height adjuster panel (1)
•   Unclip panel with a suitable tool
4.   Detach height adjuster (2)
•   Unscrew bolt (3) and remove lever

5.   Detach outside panelling (1)
•   Unscrew 2x bolt (2)
•   Unclip panelling

6.   Detach inside panelling
•   Unscrew bolt (arrows)
•   Unclip panelling (1)

7.   Detach front seat backrest
•   Unscrew 4x bolt (1, 2)
•   Release and unclip Bowden cable (3)

8.   Detach upholstery covering on front seat backrest all round
9.   Detach front seat backrest panelling (2) left
•   Fold up pad (1)
•   Unscrew 11x bolt (arrows)
•   Release clip (3)
•   Remove panelling

10.   Clean thread
•   Recut 11x threads
11.   Detach side airbag wiring harness (1) from front seat backrest
•   Release and disconnect wiring harness plug (2)
•   Detach 3x cable tie (arrows)

12.   Lay front seat backrest aside
13.   Detach front seat backrest panelling (3) right
•   Fold up pad (1)
•   Unscrew 9x bolt (arrows)
•   Release clip (2)
•   Remove panelling

14.   Unclip belt guide panel (1)
Object Number: 10680728 Size: DEFAULT


15.   Remove belt guide (1) front - right side
•   Unscrew 2x bolt (2)
•   Unclip panelling

16.   Remove belt guide (1) front - left side
•   Unscrew 2x bolt (2)
– Pull front seat backrest lock lever (3) forward
•   Unclip panelling
Object Number: 10680730 Size: DEFAULT


17.   Remove upholstery covering with pad
Object Number: 10680744 Size: DEFAULT

18.   Detach Bowden cable for front seat backrest lock lever
•   Unclip 3x Bowden cable (1, 2, 3)

19.   Remove front seat backrest lock lever (1)
Note:   Check for correct seat of spring (3)
•   Drive out pin (2)
•   Remove handle

  Install

20.   Install front seat backrest lock lever
Note:   Ensure correct seating of spring
•   Insert handle
– Attach Bowden cable
•   Insert pin
21.   Attach Bowden cable for front seat backrest lock lever
•   Clip in 2x Bowden cable
22.   Attach front seat backrest panelling right
•   Clip in panelling
•   Tighten 9x bolt
23.   Attach side airbag wiring harness to front seat backrest
•   Attach 3x cable ties
•   Connect and latch wiring harness plug
24.   Attach front seat backrest panelling left
•   Clip in panelling
•   Tighten 11x bolt
Note:   Screws must be inserted with locking compound.
25.   Install upholstery covering with pad
26.   Attach front belt guide - both sides
•   Tighten 2x bolts
27.   Attach belt guide panel
•   Clip in panel
28.   Attach upholstery covering all round
29.   Attach front seat backrest to front seat
•   Tighten 4x bolt
•   Attach and clip in Bowden cable
30.   Attach panelling inside
•   Clip in panelling
•   Tighten the bolt
31.   Attach outside panelling
•   Clip in panelling
•   Tighten 2x bolts
32.   Install height adjuster
•   Insert lever
•   Tighten the bolt
33.   Install height adjuster panel
•   Clip in panel
34.   Attach adjustment handle on front seat backrest
•   Push on adjustment handle
•   Clip in adjustment handle panel
35.   Install front seat
