Replace moulded headlining - L68

  Remove

Object Number: 10678632 Size: DEFAULT

1.   Remove A-pillar panelling (2) - both sides
•   Unclip 2x clips (1)
•   Remove A-pillar panelling from guide

2.   Detach lower B-pillar panelling
•   Unclip 3x clips
•   Remove from upper B-pillar panelling

3.   Detach upper B-pillar panelling (1) - both sides
•   Remove upper B-pillar panelling from guide (2)
•   Unclip upper B-pillar panelling (3)
4.   Leave upper B-pillar panelling hanging from belt (5) - both sides
Note:   The belt height adjuster panel (4) need not be removed.

5.   Detach C-pillar panelling (1) - both sides
•   Unclip airbag cover (2)
•   Unclip 2x and remove from guide
•   Leave C-pillar panelling hanging from belt (3)

6.   Remove spectacles holder in moulded headlining
•   Open panel (arrow)
•   Unscrew 2x bolt

7.   Remove handles in moulded headlining
•   Open panel (arrow)
•   Unscrew 2x bolt

8.   Detach sun visor - both sides
•   Unscrew bolt
•   Unclip sun visor from support and remove

9.   Remove sun visor support - both sides
•   Unclip sun visor
•   Unclip lock (1)

10.   Remove interior light
Object Number: 10679485 Size: DEFAULT

11.   Lower moulded headlining
•   Fold down rear seats
•   Separate 2x Velcro closures in rear area
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug.
12.   Remove moulded headlining through the open tailgate
Note:   A second mechanic is required.
Note:   When removing, ensure that the moulded headlining is not damaged.

  Install

13.   Insert moulded headlining
Note:   A second mechanic is required.
14.   Position moulded headlining
•   Connect wiring harness plug
•   Connect 2x Velcro fastenings
•   Insert moulded headlining below door rubber strips
15.   Install interior light
16.   Attach sun visor - both sides
•   Clip in lock
•   Clip sun visor into support
17.   Attach sun visor - both sides
•   Clip sun visor into support
•   Tighten bolt 2.2 Nm
18.   Install handles in moulded headlining
•   Tighten 2x bolt 2.8 Nm
•   Close panel
19.   Install spectacles holder in moulded headlining
•   Tighten 2x bolt 2.8 Nm
•   Close panel
20.   Attach C-pillar panelling - both sides
Note:   Ensure tailgate rubber strip sits correctly
•   Insert in guide and clip in 2x
•   Clip in airbag cover
21.   Install upper B-pillar panelling - both sides
•   Clip in upper B-pillar panelling
•   Insert upper B-pillar panelling in guide
Note:   Ensure door rubber strip sits correctly
22.   Attach lower B-pillar panelling
•   Insert in upper B-pillar panelling
•   Clip in 3x clips
23.   Install A-pillar panelling - both sides
•   Insert A-pillar panelling in guide
•   Clip in 2x clips
