Replace moulded headlining - W5L

  Remove

1.   Remove front seat - both sides LUREF_1.gif
Object Number: 10678632 Size: DEFAULT

2.   Remove A-pillar panelling (2) - both sides
•   Unclip 2x clips (1)
•   Remove A-pillar panelling from guide

3.   Detach upper B-pillar panelling (1)
Note:   The belt height adjuster panel (3) need not be removed.
•   Unclip 3x (arrows)
•   Leave upper B-pillar panelling hanging from belt (2)

4.   Detach C-pillar panelling (1)
•   Undo 2 clips
•   Remove 4x from guide

5.   Remove moulded headlining handle -both sides
•   Open panel (arrow)
•   Unscrew 2x bolt

6.   Detach sun visor - both sides
•   Unscrew bolt
•   Unclip sun visor from support and remove

7.   Remove sun visor support - both sides
•   Unclip sun visor
•   Unclip lock (1)

8.   Remove separating grid (1)
Note:   The fixing points on the rear are shown for clarity.
•   Unscrew 6x bolt (arrows)
•   Remove 2x from guide

9.   Lower moulded headlining
•   Separate 2x Velcro closures in rear area
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug.
10.   Remove moulded headlining through front door
Note:   A second mechanic is required.
Note:   When removing, ensure that the moulded headlining is not damaged.

11.   Remove interior light from moulded headlining LUREF_1.gif

  Install

12.   Install interior light in moulded headlining LUREF_1.gif
13.   Insert moulded headlining
Note:   A second mechanic is required.
14.   Position moulded headlining
•   Connect wiring harness plug
•   Connect 2x Velcro fastenings
•   Insert moulded headlining below door rubber strips
15.   Attach separating grid
•   Insert 2x in guide
•   Tighten 6x bolts
16.   Attach sun visor - both sides
•   Clip in lock
•   Clip sun visor into support
17.   Attach sun visor - both sides
•   Clip sun visor into support
•   Tighten bolt 2.2 Nm
18.   Install moulded headlining handle - both sides
•   Tighten 2x bolt 2.8 Nm
•   Close panel
19.   Attach C-pillar panelling
Note:   Ensure tailgate rubber strip sits correctly
•   Insert 4x in guide
•   Clip in 2x clips
20.   Install upper B-pillar panelling right
Note:   Ensure door rubber strip sits correctly
•   Thread belt in
•   Insert in guide
•   Clip in 3x
21.   Install A-pillar panelling - both sides
•   Insert A-pillar panelling in guide
•   Clip in 2x clips
22.   Install front seat - both sides LUREF_1.gif
