Field Remedy: 2532

Remedy:

In case of customer complaint replace gear wheel of manual
air distribution.

Working Procedure:

 1. Place rotary switch.
    - Switch air distribution to position “Leg room”

 2. Remove air duct front leg room – left side.
    - Remove clip
    - Remove left leg room distributor

 3. Mark gear wheel (Picture I, Arrows).
    - Apply marking to gear wheels

 4. Remove middle gear wheel.
    - Unlock snap tab of gear wheel with screwdriver
    - Remove gear wheel

 5. Check position of rotary switch.
    - Rotary switch in position “Leg room”

 6. Position shaft of middle gear wheel (Picture II, 1).
    - Flattened side of shaft has to be face downwards

 
 7. Install NEW gear wheel (Picture III, right side).
    - Use gear with label “DENSO”
    - Install and engage gear wheel
    - Pay attention to installation position (see Markings picture I)

 8. Functional check of air distribution.

 9. Install air duct front leg room – left side.
    - Install left leg room distributor
    - Install clip
