Brake Linings and Brake Discs, Check for Wear

Note: Substitute
adhesive films obtainable from the "Service" Department are to be
used for reinstalling brake linings (1) attached with adhesive on
the rear brake calliper.

Remove brake linings
- Front Wheel Brake
- Rear Wheel Brake
|
| 2. |
Measure remaining brake lining thickness with MKM-230-A (1)
|
| 3. |
Nominal values
- Front Wheel Brake
- Rear Wheel Brake
|
|
|
| 4. |
Measure thickness of brake disc with MKM-230-A (1) at several points
Note: Permissible
tolerance of remaining brake disc thickness at various measurement
points 0.01 mm

Check surface condition of brake disc:
Note: If overheated
areas or scoring are present the brake disc must be very finely
ground

Install brake linings
