Engine oil with oil filter change
Remove

Remove air cleaner housing (1) with air intake hose (5)

Disconnect 2x wiring harness plugs (2)

• |
Remove air intake hose from turbocharger
|
• |
Detach oil separator hose from air intake hose
|
• |
Detach water drain hose from lower part of air cleaner
housing
– |
Pull off hose from air cleaner housing
|
|
• |
Detach air cleaner housing from wheel housing
– |
Press out from rubber retainer in 3 places
|
|
|
|
|

Place collecting pan underneath.
|
4. |
Remove oil filter element
• |
Remove oil filter housing cover (1)
|
• |
Replace oil filter element (2)
|
• |
Replace seal ring, oil filter housing cover (3)
|
|
|
|

Raise vehicle by its full height
|
6. |
Drain engine oil
• |
Place collecting pan underneath.
|
|
Install

Lower vehicle by its full height
|
9. |
Install oil filter element
• |
Install oil filter housing cover
– |
Tighten cover of oil filter housing 25
Nm
|
|
|
10. |
Install air cleaner housing with air intake hose
• |
Attach water drain hose to air cleaner housing
– |
Reconnect water drain hose
|
|
• |
Attach air cleaner housing to wheelhouse
– |
Press into rubber retainers in 3 places
|
|
• |
Attach air intake hose to turbocharger
|
• |
Attach oil separator hose to air intake hose
|
• |
Push on 2x wiring harness plug
|
|
11. |
Top up engine oil
• |
Observe specified engine oil quantity
|
• |
Start engine and allow to run until oil pressure control
indicator goes off
|
• |
Check engine oil level, correct if necessary
|
|
