Replace injectors
 Remove
| 1. |
Remove throttle valve module 
|
Important: Observe safety
measures and national legislation
|
| 2. |
Release fuel pressure with KM-J-34730-91 (2) via test connection
Note: Collect escaping
fuel in a suitable container.

Unscrew protective cap (1)
|
|
|
|
| 3. |
Detach fuel line from fuel rail with KM-996-A
|
|
|
| 4. |
Detach fuel rail cover (3)
|
| 5. |
Disconnect 3x injector wiring harness connectors (4)
|
| 6. |
Set aside wiring harness (2) to the left
|
|
|
| 8. |
Detach 3 injection valves (2) from fuel distribution pipe
(1)

Detach 3 retaining clamps (4)
|
| • |
Pull 3x injector out of fuel rail
|
|
| 9. |
Detach 6x injector seal ring (3)
|
|
|
Install
| 10. |
Clean sealing surfaces.
|
Important: Groove in retaining
clamp must engage with lug on injector (arrow).
|
| 11. |
Attach 3x injector valve to fuel rail
| • |
Insert 3x injector in fuel rail
Note: Coat seal rings
with clean engine oil.

Attach 3 retaining clamps
|
|
|
|
| 12. |
Install fuel distribution pipe with injection valve
| • |
Install fuel rail with injectors in intake manifold
|
| • |
Tighten 2x bolts
| – |
Tightening torque 7 Nm .
|
|
|
| 13. |
Connect 3 injector wiring harness plugs
|
| 14. |
Attach fuel rail cover
|
| 15. |
Attach fuel line to fuel rail
Note: Connection must
audibly engage.
|
| 16. |
Install throttle valve module
|
|
