Check selector lever position switch (AF13-II)
 Remove
| 1. |
Detach transmission control unit with bracket from battery
tray
| • |
Unclip transmission control unit with bracket and place
aside
|
|
|
|
| 2. |
Release and disconnect selector lever position switch wiring
harness plug (1)
|
| 3. |
Attach KM-962-A (2) with KM-962-10
| • |
Connect to selector lever position switch wiring harness
plug
|
| • |
Connect KM-962-10 to battery
|
|
| 4. |
Check function and setting of selector lever position
switch
| • |
Shift through all the gears in sequence
Note: The LED's
corresponding to the marks on the insert module must illuminate in
each individual gear (figure shows check in selector lever position
"N")

| 5. |
In case of incorrect operation:
| • |
Adjust selector actuation cable 
|
| • |
Adjust selector lever position switch
|
| • |
Check electrical function of selector lever position switch
| – |

Install
| 7. |
Remove KM-962-A (2) with KM-962-10
| • |
Disconnect from selector lever position switch wiring harness
plug (1)
|
| • |
Disconnect from battery
|
|
| 8. |
Connect and lock selector lever position switch wiring harness
plug
|
|
|
| 9. |
Attach transmission control unit with bracket to battery
tray
| • |
Clip transmission control unit with bracket
Note: Ensure that the
lug (1) engages audibly.
