Winter programme (driving off on slippery road surfaces in 3rd
gear):

Switch on:

Function only in selector lever position "D" and "3" by pressing
winter programme tip switch. Converter output temperature < 130
°C, kickdown switch off.

Switch off:

Re-press winter programme tip switch, automatically via manual
selection of driving stage "2" or "1" and switch off ignition.
Converter output temperature > 140 °C

Operating temperature (not selectable):
|
Upshift points when engine is cold are set higher to delay
shifting in the individual gears. The increased engine speeds,
switching of winter programme, driving with kickdown have the
result that the operating temperature is reached more quickly.
