Close and open emergency shut-off valve on LPG system (Euro 4) > < Drain gas system (Method 1: Siphon out liquid gas and burn off gas phase)

Drain gas system (Method 2: Blow off liquid gas and gas phase)

Warning:   Work may only be performed by trained personnel. Faulty installation can lead to fire or explosion, which is a danger to life and limb.

Important:   Observe safety regulations for gas-driven vehicles (natural gas / Liquefied Petroleum Gas LPG).

1.   Perform a leak test
2.   Switch off ignition
3.   Start engine
Note:   Let the engine run until low gas pressure causes the control unit to switch to petrol (watch the display).
4.   Close the hand lever on the multivalve.
Warning:   Escaping liquid gas can lead to freeze burns. Wear protective gloves.
5.   Detach gas outlet line.
•   Unscrew screw
6.   Connect gas outlet line to blow-off line
•   Check connection for leaks
Check connection for leaks using leak detection spray
Note:   Use suitable pipe connectors.
Warning:   Escaping liquid gas can lead to freeze burns. Do not touch the blow-off line, and wear protective gloves.
7.   Apply 12V to safety valve.
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug from magnetic coil on multivalve
•   Connect wiring harness plug of KM-6631 to the magnetic coil
•   Connect wiring harness plug of KM-6631 to the wiring harness plug of KM-799-B
•   Connect KM-799-B to vehicle battery
8.   After draining completely, disconnect blow-off line from gas outlet line
9.   Attach gas outlet line.
•   Tighten bolt
Tightening torque 12 Nm
10.   Remove KM-799-B and KM-6631
11.   Connect multivalve wiring harness plug
