Replace wiring harness, complete (model L 08)

Important:   Repair or replace wiring harnesses observing the safety regulations of electrics/electronics .

  Remove

1.   Disconnect battery 2.   Read off DTCs 3.   Remove tail light - left side L 08 4.   Remove tail light - right side L 08 5.   Remove front panelling 6.   Remove protective panelling, wheel installation, rear 7.   Sensor - wheel speed - front/rear •   Disconnect wiring harness connector. 8.   Lower fuel tank •   Disconnect wiring harness connector. 9.   Remove front seat 10.   Remove sill inner panelling - both sides L 08 11.   Remove rear seat - L 08 12.   Remove the rear-seat back (single unit) - L 08 13.   Remove front inner panelling of side panel - both sides 14.   Remove centre console 15.   Completely remove instrument panel padding 16.   Remove front door 17.   Remove headlining - L 08 18.   Remove carpet base - L 08 19.   Remove bulkhead closing part 20.   Release wiring harness in engine compartment 21.   Remove EPS steering column 22.   Remove steering crossmember •   Detach steering crossmember with instrument panel wiring harness 23.   Apply position markers 24.   Detach wiring harness, starting from tail and working to bulkhead 25.   Feed wiring harness through bulkhead and remove

  Install

30.	Install bulkhead closing part

34.	Completely install instrument panel padding

36.	Fit front inner panelling of side panel - both sides

37.	Install the rear-seat back, single unit

39.	Install sill inner panelling

42.	Sensor - wheel speed - front/rear •   Fix wiring harness plug

43.	Fit protective panelling, wheel installation, rear

45.	Install tail light - left side

46.	Install tail light - right side
