Procedure for fitting spare wheel in event of puncture When the emergency wheel is used, the driving behaviour may be modified, especially on use of winter tyres. Drive slowly on corners. Only fit one spare wheel, and do not drive faster than 80 km/h. The spare wheel is not suitable for sustained use and must be replaced by a full-size wheel immediately! Snow chains are not permitted on the spare wheel. If snow chains must be used after a front tyre puncture, fit the spare to the rear and fit one of the rear wheels to the front. Check tyre pressure and adjust if necessary. |
