Timing Chain Tensioner without Oil Pressure Assistance
Unscrew timing chain tensioner bolts.
Remove timing chain tensioner.
Clean sealing surfaces.
Before installing timing chain tensioner, ensure that oil injection hole - arrow A - is "free".
Tighten lower bolt of timing chain tensioner - arrow B - by hand.
Insert feeler gauge between catch and tension spring - arrow.
Compress tensioner in direction of arrow and insert upper bolt.
Remove feeler gauge and tighten both bolts.
Coat new seal ring lightly with grease for better adhesion and install.
Install timing case cover.
