Turbocharger, Remove and Install

Remove

Remove exhaust manifold (with turbocharger).

See operation "Gasket between Exhaust Manifold and Cylinder Head, Replace".

Unbolt coolant pipes.

Remove exhaust manifold and oil return line flange.

Install

Bolt exhaust manifold onto turbocharger.

Prescribed torque:      30 Nm/22 lbf. ft.

Bolt oil return line flange with new gasket onto turbocharger.

Clean sealing surfaces beforehand.

Screw oil pressure line with new seal rings into turbocharger and cylinder block.

Bolt line onto flange of oil return hose.

Bolt on coolant pipes.

Use new seal.
