Remove speedometer helical gear (driven).
Up to transmission A 355 - 3 - 1:
Remove bolt for retaining plate.
Remove retaining plate.
Lever out guide piece from transmission housing.
As of transmission A 356 - 3 - 1:
Remove bolt for guide piece.
Lever out guide piece from transmission housing.
