Fuse Box , Replace

Remove
Remove fuse box cover.
The fuse box has fuse locations with knife contacts.
The amperage rating of the fuse link is imprinted on the back
of the grip.
In addition, the grip has a colour code, which allows the
amperage rating to be determined.

Remove centre console if installed.
Remove storage tray.
Remove three self-tapping screws and pull storage tray out of
support rails toward the rear.

Push retainer on bottom of fuse box upward.
At the same time disconnect the fuse box from the instrument
panelling.

|
Loosen retaining strap fastening wiring harness to
instrument panel behind fuse box.
Pull fuse box downwards, so as to make accessible back of
the fuse box with connecting cables.

|
Disconnect and remove relay support on back of fuse box.
Illustration shows the fuse box removed.

|
Bend side retainer clips on the plug sleeves and fuse
holders.
Remove sleeves and holders from the fuse box.

Install
Install in reverse order.
Bend open retainer clips on side before installing plug
sleeves and fuse holders.
Observe circuit diagrams when installing individual
connections.
To avoid interchanging the cables, it is advisable to
transfer them one at a time from one fuse box to the other.
