A-pillar, Replace

  Remove

Attaching parts.

Drill off wheel housing strut

Drill off A-pillar, separate – separation section 2.

Observe size of new part!

For partial replacement of A-pillar (separation at belt line) – separation section 3.

  Install

Fit A-pillar.

Prepare flanges.

Apply spot weld paint.

Weld in new part.

Seal cavities.

Seal body seams.

Attaching parts.

A-pillar is supplied with tack-welded door hinges. Install front door in hinges and adjust door clearance according to specifications. Door clearance for door shell differs from that for complete door. Install door shell without inner door seal.

Weld hinge securely in position (1).

Seal weld seams (2).
