Complaint: Corrosion On vehicles with trailer hitch the side panel will bedeformed on high towed weight.
Cause: Push rod to stiffen side panel in production.
Special part: No
Production Solution:
Remedy: - remove last bolt of compartment lid hinge (A) - install new bolt and fit push rod with spacer bush over the installed bush (B), tighten nut. - to fit push rod to the wheelhous, bore a hole with a diameter of 8, 3 mm (D) - fasten push rod with screw and nut.
