Front Frame, (Partial Replacement) and Closure Plate, Replace

Special economy parts are available for partial replacement. (Additional operations to "Upper Front, Replace Completely", "Wheel Well, Replace Completely", "Front Member, Replace" and "Wheel Well Strut, Replace")

  Remove

Front frame, separate according to specifications:

1 = Separation section, partial replacement "long"

2 = Separation section, partial replacement "short"

Observe size of new part!

Object Number: 2392286 Size: DEFAULT

  Install

Fit front frame. Use body straightening system. Chamfer economy part and remaining flange at separation point.

4 = Economy part "long" with welded reinforcement

5 = Remaining flange with welded reinforcement

Weld in front frame (butt-weld seam).

Weld in closing panel.

Seal cavities.

Caution

Butt weld seam must not be smoothened.
