Infrared Remote Control

Omega - B between VIN R1 000001 and S1 072158.

Condition:

The infrared remote control does not function at times, even after replacement of the batteries, making deactivation of the immobiliser impossible.

Remedy:

All infrared transmitters (1) belonging to the vehicle with date of manufacture before Calendar Week 46 / 94 (sticker (2) on rear) must be replaced by new infrared transmitters (see parts).

All infrared transmitters belonging to the vehicle must subsequently be programmed using TECH 1 / TECH 1A (see "Electronic Body Systems" Checking Procedures, Omega - B, KTA - 1733, 4 / 94).
