·   A button is recognized as being depressed continuously for longer than 60 s

·   The buttons are read and evaluated every 20 ms

Effect:

A jammed button is ignored for further requests until it is either recognized as being not depressed or the system is reset by a voltage reset (ignition OFF).

Since a depressed button leads to a release of the main relays and therefore a jammed button affects the safety principle of the unit, all movements of the seat motors are performed in a jerky way as a signal to the driver (1 s on, 1 s off).
