Motors for Electric Front Seat Adjustment

In each seat, 3 motors are located in the seat console and 1 motor is located in the seat backrest.

The motors are equipped with overload protectors. If the seat meets with an obstruction, this interrupts the current supply to the motor.

Note:

If the motor for the longitudinal adjustment forwards/backwards should malfunction, the front seats can be adjusted with the emergency crank (6), which is stored in the vehicle tool kit. This also provides access for loosening the front and rear fastening bolts, if the seat is being removed.

If replacement of the motor for the seat rear height is necessary and the seat is in the lowest position, the relevant transfer pipe (5) must be separated at the middle (saw through at point marked X).

Removal and installation of the electrically adjustable front seats and replacement of the motors are described in the Omega-B Service Instructions, group C.
